What this site
keeps.
Written from what the site does today: the forms, a database, a host and a page-view count.
When you write in
The contact form asks for your name, your email, the company or operation you work in (optional), a topic and your message. Submitting it does three things. It saves the entry in the site’s database, which Neon hosts in the United States. It sends one email with the entry to the inbox at hello@paddock20.com, through Resend, the service that delivers it. And it sends you a short email that repeats what you sent.
The entry also records the page you were on, the site you came from, any campaign tag in the address, your country, and whether you used a phone or a computer. It keeps a one-way code made from your internet address and the day, to stop floods, and never the address itself.
Entries are kept so the team can reply and has a record of the conversation. To have yours deleted, write to hello@paddock20.com and say so. It is removed from the database and from the inbox.
The car intake
The car intake form at paddockgavin.com/intake asks for the car’s VIN or details, its condition, and your name, email and phone. If you enter a VIN, it is sent to NHTSA’s public vPIC service to decode the year, make and model; NHTSA does not receive your contact details. Submitting the form saves the entry in the site’s database, sends one email to the small team who reviews car intakes, through Resend, and sends you a short email that repeats what you sent. It records the same page, source, country and device details as the contact form.
To have your intake deleted, write to hello@paddock20.com and say so. It is removed from the database and from the inbox.
The prep sheet
The prep sheet form asks for your email address. Submitting it saves the address in the site’s database with the page it was sent from, and Resend delivers one email with the sheet.
If you tick the box that asks for a note when something new is published, that choice is saved with the address and is the only reason it is used again. Without the tick, the address gets the one email. To be removed, write to hello@paddock20.com.
When you browse
The site runs on Vercel. Like any host, Vercel processes the address and browser details of each request to deliver the page and keep the service secure. The site also uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views by page, referrer, country and device type. It sets no cookies and does not follow you from one site to another.
The site also counts clicks on its Book a Fit Call buttons, on the button that opens the contact form and on the prep sheet field, by page and country. The count sets no cookie and holds no identifier. A browser that sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is not counted.
Cookies and stored data
The site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing about you in your browser.
